SUBSTANCE: auger bit comprises body and blades installed on the body and extending at positive angle from the body. The blades are reinforced with rock-cutting members. Half of front edge of peripheral part of each blade facing well face lies in plane inclined at 15-20° angle to plane defined by front edge of inner blade part and is opposite to bit rotation direction.
EFFECT: increased operational efficiency.
