FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be bused at designing, developing and manufacturing of solid-propellant rocket engines. Proposed solid-propellant rocket engine has body, igniter and splitter placed between igniter and change end face. All-round burning inserted channel charge is arranged in body of rocket engine. Igniter is arranged in cylindrical housing made of polymeric material. Splitter is made in form of multiarm star with central hole. Wall of igniter housing has peripheral round and weakened section along arms of splitter and corrugated central projection engaging with central hole of splitter. Mating seat cavity is made in wall of igniter on contact with splitter. Contour of said cavity follows contour of splitter.
EFFECT: provision of design of solid-propellant rocket engine featuring higher reliability and manufacturability.
