FIELD: chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polycarbonate-containing refractory thermoplastic moldable composite consisting of at least two layers. At least one layer prepared from polycarbonate shows LOI index less 29 and at least one layer prepared from a mixture containing polycarbonate and 10% of antipyrene, not above, shows LOI index exceeding 29. Also, invention relates to a method for preparing the refractory thermoplastic moldable composite and refractory molded article made of polycarbonate. Invention provides preparing thermoplastic material from polycarbonate that can be used for making refractory molded articles made of polycarbonate possessing the attractive and functional surface structure being without using universal dyes.
EFFECT: improved preparing method, valuable properties of material and articles.
