FIELD: sewing engineering, in particular, rack-type fabric conveying mechanism preferably for low-speed highly loaded sewing machines.
SUBSTANCE: fabric conveying mechanism has kinematic chain for moving toothed rack in vertical plane. Kinematic mechanism uses six-link pivotal mechanism providing standing of lifting arm in extreme upper position of toothed rack and simplified joining of supporting lever with connecting rods of six-link kinematic chain for moving toothed rack in vertical plane and changing connection of lifting arm with lever, which carries toothed rack. Fabric conveying mechanism of such construction provides movement of toothed rack above needle plate along path having straight portion extending in parallel with needle plate during conveyance of fabric by predetermined and regulated length of stitch.
EFFECT: simplified construction, improved quality of conveying fabric on low-speed highly loaded sewing machine, and enhanced reliability in operation of fabric conveying mechanism.
