FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway vehicles and design of frames of their bogies. Proposed frame of two-axle bogie has two longitudinal sidemembers 1, crossmembers 3, units for mounting of axle-box central steps of spring suspension, units of mounting of vertical and horizontal vibration dampers, brackets to suspend brake equipment and brackets for mounting axle-box links. Longitudinal sidemembers are rigidly interconnected by crossmember arranged between axles of wheelsets and furnished with device 4 for lubricating traction and brake force hinged transmission at level of axles of wheelsets or lower, or higher to transmit said forces from bogie to frame or body of railway traction vehicle. Each longitudinal sidemember is provided with through vertical holes to pass axle-box brackets. According to other design version, longitudinal sidemembers are installed on said crossmember from top.
EFFECT: simplified design of frame, reduce overall dimensions of frame in length, reduced metal usage, improved adaptability to manufacture, maintenance and repair.
