FIELD: electrical engineering; emergency protection of synchronous and induction motors in industry, agriculture, and other fields.
SUBSTANCE: proposed synchronous motor emergency protective gear has power unit, voltage regulation unit, transistorized overtemperature protective unit with posistors built in motor stator winding, voltage unbalance and phase failure protective unit with voltage unbalance sensor assembled of three similar star-interconnected resistors connected to three-phase power supply, warning alarm unit, and final element in the form of reed relay with make contact, speed control unit with transfer contact whose making contact member is shorted out by resistor and is interposed in series with circuit between power supply and voltage unbalance sensor resistor; movable contact is connected to power supply and breaking contact is connected in series with current-limiting resistor and light-emitting diode connected to neutral and used to warn about emergency braking of motor.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and enlarged functional capabilities of protective gear.
