FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for preparing of soil for sowing.

SUBSTANCE: self-propelled plowing digger has hollow carcass, working tools fixed at outer side of carcass, through the entire width thereof, and drive placed within carcass. Carcass is made barrel-shaped, with cylindrical central part. Rings are fixed circumferentially within carcass for defining annular races. Drive is mounted on frame located within carcass and is made in the form of power unit with transmission whose center of gravity coincides with center of carcass. Power unit is connected with drive sprockets so as to transmit rotation, said drive sprockets cooperating with carcass races in order to provide rotation of carcass. U-shaped column is axially fixed on frame, and weight is suspended from U-shaped column. Brake is positioned under weight for cooperation therewith. Weight is made in the form of balancing device. Guiding wheels are mounted in front part of frame, and extending brackets are attached at both sides of frame for attachment of hitch and cabin equipped with control panel. Working tools made in the form of spades are pivotally fixed on carcass in staggered arrangement.

EFFECT: simplified construction and reduced consumption of power.
