FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: calorimeter has measuring cell with calorimetric bomb introduced into cell. Measuring cell is made in form of polyhedron with even number of faces and it is connected with massive unit through heat flow converter. Massive unit is made of separate segments according to number of faces of measuring cell; faces are tied by metal ring. Massive unit is placed into isothermal envelope. Isothermal envelope is made in form of two cylindrical shells, between which shells the heat-insulating washer is placed. Air thermostat is introduced additionally into calorimeter. Thermostat has fan mounted in air-taking channel, heater, resistance thermometer and amplifier. Output current of amplifier, which current is increased due to non-balance of bridge device incorporated into device, inducing extraction of heat. Fan pushes air through heater and resistance thermometer; the latter brings bridge of amplifier in balance.
EFFECT: simplified design; improved precision of results.
