FIELD: engineering of devices for separating two non-mixing liquids, possible use for cleaning waste waters of storm water sewer from oil products.

SUBSTANCE: device for separating two non-mixing liquids with different specific weight - oil products, contained in storm drain water, using as separating element - coalescent filter - a layer of liquid with smaller specific weight, is made in form of tank with drain pipe and vertical walls mounted in tank, forming sections - communicating vessels. Each one of aforementioned sections contains, sunken in upper part of aforementioned layer of liquid with smaller specific weight of coalescent filter - sorbent filter, made detachable and vertically moveable. Tank is made in cylindrical shape and has water channel from periphery to center. Aforementioned vertical walls are made in circular shape, while odd vertical walls have lower channel, and even vertical walls have upper down-flow weir. Aforementioned walls with lower channel are made vertically moveable and drain pipe and aforementioned walls with upper down-flow weir are provided with vertically moveable heads of annual shape, forming a hydraulic resistance system.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of device, possible use of device during cleaning of radially directed storm drains.
