FIELD: hydromechanization; underwater mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater mining by suction-tube dredges. Proposed intake device includes cutter, suction pipeline with soil intake made in form of several suction holes. Device is provided with conical head installed inside cutter whose larger base is arranged at trailing edges of cutter blades. Suction holes of soil intake are arranged over periphery of outer surface of head.
EFFECT: increased capacity of suction tube dredge, reduced spilling.
