FIELD: plastic working of metals.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two lower tools in the form of rotary bending beams mutually touched by their lateral faces and used for supporting sheet; upper tool in the form of punch whose working edge is placed in the same vertical plane as mutually touched faces of lower tools. Lower tools are mounted with possibility of their simultaneous rotation from their mounting place to opposite sides at sheet bending relative to working edge of punch due to force action upon sheet. Apparatus also includes common hydraulic drive of lower and upper tools; housing in the form of vertically mounted frame with struts having supports; crosspiece in which punch is mounted. Lower tools are mounted with possibility of force action upon sheet at counteraction of crosspiece and punch as said tools have levers and they are mounted in supports on struts of frame. Common hydraulic drive includes two hydraulic cylinders. Housing of each cylinder is secured to end portions of crosspiece with punch. Head of rod joins each cylinder with levers of lower tools through flexible members.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of bending sheets due to lowered power and metal consumption, simplified maintenance due to reduced friction forces and counteraction of lower tools at force action, enlarged using range due to possibility for bending large size sheets.
