METHOD FOR GUIDANCE OF GUIDED MISSILE Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC F41G3/22

Abstract RU 2290591 C1

FIELD: military equipment, in particular, methods for control of missiles.

SUBSTANCE: the aiming line is formed and matched with the target, missile deviation from the aiming line in the process of its flight is measured, control command corresponding to this deviation is automatically formed, a signal corresponding to this command is automatically generated and fed to the missile controls. Additional symptoms of the position of the aiming line and the initial distance of the guided missile to the target in the form of a circumference respectively adjusted with the aiming line and its size are introduced. The motion of the guided missile along the aiming line is simulated by changing the size of the introduced circumference proportionally to the current distance of the guided missile to the target, the guidance of the aiming line is specified by means of the use of an additional symptom of the position of the aiming line serving as an additional aiming mark, whose position is symmetrized relative to the aiming point, and the brightness is periodically changed.

EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity and probability of hitting by guided missiles in the conditions of light noise by 20-25%.
