FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly manufacture of extruded articles, particularly semi-continuous extrusion of elongated articles.
SUBSTANCE: tool includes die, sleeve of container, ram and sealing gasket mounted with possibility of restricting sealed cavity inside sleeve of container. Ram has through duct and its is provided with valve for closing inlet of said duct. Outlet of duct is arranged on surface of ram exposed to atmosphere; inlet of duct is arranged on working surface of ram. Outer surface of said valve in closed state coincides with working surface of ram. Sealing gasket has opening formed in front of valve.
EFFECT: possibility for producing elongated articles with the same mechanical properties in welded zones of blanks and with high quality of blank surface.
