SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of taking characteristics of layer 06, method and device for determining parameter (α) and method of selecting of suitable layer for rollers 01, 02, 16 and choosing of appropriate geometry of rollers of printing machine making it possible to determine and use parameter characterizing the layer and describing character of rolling of machine rollers irrespective of measuring device or use in some particular printing device.
EFFECT: provision of quality indices for tympans in relation of their transport properties.
