FIELD: radio engineering; detecting frequency-hopping radio stations on air, determining their direction and useful frequency spectrum.
SUBSTANCE: proposed radio transmission detector incorporates provision for automatically taking decision on presence of frequency-hopping (FH) signals, presence of only one antenna with continuously revolving directivity pattern, for analyzing amplitude spectrum with unattended segmental time overlap of its rotation affording on-line separation of unknown signals; discrete rotation of directivity pattern along with its comparison with standard makes it possible to use this detector in mobile radio monitoring facilities.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced time and provision for automatic detection of frequency-hopping signals.
