FIELD: domestic equipment adapted for positioning in vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: table has casing and angle brace positioned for linear displacement within casing. Table top is pivotally secured to angle brace end. Table has collapsing mechanism fixed on lower side of table top. Collapsing mechanism is made in the form of spring-loaded stem positioned within guides fixed on lower side of table top. For fixing of angle brace in extended position, table is equipped with table retainer for retaining table in extended position. Retainer is fixed on angle brace and is made in the form of swing having one stable position. When in retracted position, retainer contacts at its one end with table top, and when in operating position, retainer contacts at its other end with stop provided on casing. Stop adapted for stopping table top in operating position is pivotally fixed with its one end on table top and with its other end for displacement along angle brace guides. Table has compact design allowing it to be employed in vehicles with restricted volume for only one person, for example, table may be used in cabin of small-sized plane with lateral control arm.

EFFECT: simplified construction and manufacture process and easy and convenient usage.
