Armchair has seat, back, and armrests mounted on poles for repositioning in vertical plane at second pitch t₂. Back with armrests is mounted for additional repositioning relative to any position of seat set at pitch t₂. At least one additional repositioning step has pitch S differing by value from other repositioning steps and from additional repositioning step by at least value corresponding to pitch t₃ relative to offset position.

EFFECT: provision for more accurate adaptation of table and armchair parameters for pupils during different growth periods characterized by different dynamics of alterations in body proportions during these periods.
