FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: joint comprises two members to be joined, bolt, and nut. The member that abuts against the nut has an opening for fitting the bolt with interference. The opening smoothly goes into the plane of the joint. The other member is provided with an opening that receives the bolt which is set in the opening with a spaced relation. The opening smoothly goes into the concentric cylindrical bores of large diameter that, from one side, abuts against the plane of the joint, and, from the other side, abuts against the bearing surface of the bolt head. The bolt is conical along the space defined by the plane of the joint and opening. The smaller base of the cone faces the threaded part, and the larger base of the cone goes into the cylindrical section that is terminated with the radiused groove for seal and collar. The space between the plane of the joint and seal is filled with a polymeric material.

EFFECT: enhanced strength.
