FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has elastic synthetic tube bent into unclosed ring filled with deodorant and having plates at the ends arranged in perpendicular to tube axis. Perforated holes are available in a part of tube wall externally covered with deodorizing filler layer manufactured from porous material with sticking ribbon coating the layer to hinder uncontrolled evaporation. Device size is selected so that it could be placed in front of patient nose when fixing the plates on nose bridge. The device is enclosed into plastic package filled with neutral medium hindering deodorant from evaporation. The deodorizing filler has capillaries narrowing from tube axis to outside.
