FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, working parts in lathes.
SUBSTANCE: carrier device includes bushing with symmetrical cutouts. Bushing is mounted on body inside which spring-loaded center is arranged. Said center is joined with carrier washer through mechanism for axial movement of said washer. Said mechanism has thin-wall sleeve and piston, both mounted on center and elastic member engaged with piston in axial direction and engaged with pushers in radial direction. Said pushers engage with transmitting sleeve through inclined protrusions and said sleeve engages with carrier washer joined with piston. In order to improve accuracy of centering, to increase torque transmitted to blank and to enhance reliability of blank mounting, bearing assembly is mounted between piston and carrier washer. Pushers are in the form of built-up structure having ball that may rotate in any angular direction and spring.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of centering, increased torque transmitted to blank mounted with high reliability.
