CROSS-BAR Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC E05B15/10

Abstract RU 2295617 C1

FIELD: ironmongery, particularly locks and locking systems adapted to prevent intrusion.

SUBSTANCE: cross-bar comprises fixed and movable parts. Fixed part is defined by body with guiding means. Movable part is made as head with tail connected with each other and installed so that the movable part may reciprocate along fixed part for distance equal to movable part stroke by means of rolling friction or sliding friction members and bearing members for fixation thereof. Cross-bar comprises fastening parts, which create screw-nut connections, and spacing bushes with end surfaces. Each spacing bush has length equal to distance between opposite sheets, which create the head and the tail. The body is provided with through orifices for fastening parts receiving. The fastening parts connect the sheets together so that cavity is defined in-between. Body is located in the cavity. Body thickness is less than that of the cavity. Spacing bushes are arranged in the cavities and are partly inserted in through orifices so that the spacing bushes are coaxial to fastening parts.

EFFECT: increased efficiency.
