FIELD: oil production, particularly to develop oil field with the use of heated gas.
SUBSTANCE: method involves injecting oxygen-containing gas in oil formation and creating oil oxidation zones in formation. Formation test is performed before oxygen-containing gas injection. The test provides determination of cracks communicating injection and producing wells. The test is carried out by injection of gaseous tracer agent plug in formation and control of time enough for gaseous tracer agent reaching producing well. Waterproofing preparation of zone before heated gas action is carried out by injection of heat-resistant waterproofing materials. Time of gaseous tracer agent exposing and time of oxygen absorption by formation obtained by modeling method or data received during well operation in heated gas action zone are compared. Then kinetic oil oxidizing regime is obtained from provision of time necessary for producing well achievement by gaseous tracer agent, which should be not less than 2 times necessary for oxygen concentration reduction to explosion-safe or hydrocarbon fire-safe level at formation temperature.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and safety of oil production from non-uniform or fractured formation, for instance after hydraulic fracturing usage.
