ELECTROHYDROSTATIC DRIVE UNIT HAVING ELECTROHYDRAULIC REVERSE VALVE AND RESET HYDRAULIC COMPENSATOR Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F15B15/00

Abstract RU 2296892 C1

FIELD: tracking electro-hydraulic control systems such as electrohydrostatic drive units with electro-hydraulic reverse valve and with reset hydraulic compensator, possibly used as autonomous electro-hydraulic actuating mechanisms of control system of air crafts and other flying objects.

SUBSTANCE: drive unit includes hydraulic compensator whose spring set having preliminarily compressed spring is switched (by pressure applied under end face of resetting plunger) to working position. It is fixed in said position by means of stop during time period of drive unit operation just till setting hydraulic compensator after applying voltage to winding of electromagnet in order to shift spring set relative to stop. Such system allows sustain necessary level of minimum pressure at operation of drive unit regardless pressure value under end face of resetting plunger and it provides best condition for storing drive unit without excess pressure in its hydraulic circuit. Drive unit operates with use of special algorithm of controller according to which lock valve for some time locks outlet link of drive, signal is fed to electric motor for driving pump to rotation and for creating feed pressure of pump. It provides shift of resetting plunger of hydraulic compensator to limit position till fixing its spring set by means of stop. Then said signal is cancelled and lock valve opens.

EFFECT: possibility for keeping target level of minimum pressure in operating drive unit with reset compensator without subsidiary pump and additional power consumption.
