FIELD: sliding-contact revolving electrical machines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for connecting current-carrying conductor to brush circuit involves use of intermediate metal rod for the purpose that has vertical packing slot and is driven into blank brush over roughing thread until rotary supporting fillet comes in contact with top edge of brush to afford tapping of carbon-graphite dust ensuring packing of joint and damping in case of relative temperature deformations of rod and blank brush materials; brush operation limiter is fitted onto protruding part of metal rod.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and contact resistance stability between current-carrying conductors and brush body throughout its entire service life.
