FIELD: fish industry, in particular, one-year or multiple-year raising of fish in lakes, catchment basins, and water storage basins.

SUBSTANCE: method involves daily feeding of fish on feeding path at one and the same time; training fish so that it knows place and feeding time; periodically, in particular, in each 2-3 days, catching fish using netted catching means an hour after feeding; delivering feed onto feeding path arranged within bypass channel or on water area of basin between two parallel water-tight walls, which may be otherwise hung to floating base, said walls being made from polyethylene film; before delivering of feed, actuating aerator-flow former; directing flow produced by flow former along feeding path; catching fish by means of catch consisting of four side walls and bottom. Upper seine ropes of two longitudinal walls and of one transverse rear wall are raised above water surface, and upper seine rope of transverse front wall is dipped into water thickness to define entrance for fish which is raised above water surface using tightening metal rings and strip at predetermined time. Catch is thereafter withdrawn and fish is discharged.

EFFECT: simplified fish catching process, reduced consumption of feed for fish catching, wider range of usage, and increased catching efficiency.
