FIELD: equipment used in theatres, circuses, discotheques, concert-halls, psychologistic relaxation rooms, and also in landscaping.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has microphone and acoustic signal processing channels, each having band pass filter and said filters being connected in series, amplitude detector, and light source. Microphone is connected to inputs of band pass filter of acoustic signal processing channels through scale amplifier and double-sided amplitude restricting device, said amplifier and amplitude restricting device being connected in series, and output of amplitude detector in each acoustic signal processing channel is connected to input of respective light source through voltage-to-current converter. Light sources are formed using light-emitting diodes. Apparatus of such construction provides light accompaniment of musical programs where it is needed, i.e., in room as well as in open air.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in light accompaniment of music due to high-level dynamism and enhanced color intensity of light-music composition.
