FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engines which can operate on all types of hydrocarbon fuels. Proposed detonation internal combustion engines has at least one cylinder and trunk crank gear, cylinder cover with combustion chamber and nozzle, systems of air supply with intake and exhaust valves, transporting and delivering of gaseous mixture of overheated fumes of fuel and vapors of concentrated water solutions of strong electrolytes, turbine or wave compressor, electric pulse generator connected to nozzle electrodes. Engine is furnished also with combustion chamber built into cylinder cover and provided with ports uniformly spaced over circumference and communicating with ring space, and nozzle. Bottom of cover in ring space is provided with posts uniformly arranged over circumference and directed at angle to circumference. Exhaust calve is provided with pipeline connected to turbine or wave compressor, and intake valve is connected to air supply system.
EFFECT: provision of operation of different fuels, increased efficiency, reduced discharge of carbon oxides into atmosphere.
