FIELD: pumping engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises forming a fluid piston in the chamber of a rotor-piston multi-phase pump under the action of centrifugal forces and displacing gas with this piston. Each piston defines working and pumping chambers together with the cylinder. During sucking stroke, the working chamber is filled with gas and pumping chamber is filled with liquid. During pumping stroke, the gas is displaced from the working chamber to the pumping line, and liquid enters the working chamber through the check valve. Under the action of centrifugal force, a fluid piston is formed in front of the pump piston. The volume of liquid displaced from the pumping chamber to the working chamber is no less than the volume of the liquid loss during the pumping stroke.
