FIELD: high-power modulators for radars, lasers, medical instruments, linear particle exciters, plasma heaters, semiconductor cleaners, and the like.
SUBSTANCE: proposed high-power modulator that can be used for cancer treatment, microwave heating, material sterilization, and for some other purposes has plurality of magnetic cores, at least one secondary winding enclosing all magnetic cores, at least one pulse-generation module incorporating storage capacitor, switching facility turned on and off by means of electronic control, diode connected in parallel with output contacts of mentioned module, and set of single-turn or multiturn primary windings, each enclosing respective core out of plurality of magnetic cores; windings constituting set of primary windings are connected in parallel with the result that each pulse-generation module of high-power modulator excites entire plurality of magnetic cores.
EFFECT: ability of pulse-generation modules to run during different time moments.
