FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely production of rolled products for making blanks of part used in machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of heating, deforming blank and subjecting it to heat treatment. Blank deformation is realized by piercing blank to sleeve and calibrating sleeve on mandrel in helical rolling mills and then subjecting sleeve to heat treatment. Calibration is realized with the aid of tool whose profile provides predetermined configuration of part along its inner and outer surfaces. Two end portions of blanks are successively deformed in different stands while rolled piece is pulled out from deformation zone after calibration in direction opposite to axial motion direction of metal at rolling process. Before pulling out, during three last revolutions of sleeve axial speed motion of metal is decreased till zero.
EFFECT: possibility for producing shaped high-accuracy geometry blanks, enhanced efficiency, improved ecology of production process.
