FIELD: printing presses, applicable for application of a protective pattern at printing of valuable documents.
SUBSTANCE: the sheet-fed printing press has at least two form cylinders provided with an ink system with printing plates installed on them, as well as an impression cylinder, sheet feeding system and at least two offset cylinders. Each printing plate is engage able with the elastic shell of the respective offset cylinder, contacting with the printed sheets by means of the impression cylinder. At least one section of the surface of the elastic shell of each offset cylinder is made in section with a variable curvature so that in the given section the surface of the elastic shell is not engage able with the mentioned printing plates and with the impression cylinder.
EFFECT: provided even transition from one pattern (color) to the other, which in turn makes it possible to enhance the accuracy of the obtained image, as well as to provide a high resolution of it.
