FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device that can be used, for instance, in power installations of distribution points, power boards, solidly-grounded and insulated neutral AC mains, including apartment boards disposed in dwelling housing staircases has separate current transformer at distribution point entry and separate current transformer at feeder exit from distribution center. Secondary windings of transformers are connected differentially in series and brought to sensing element that actuates circuit-breaker disconnecting gear; input power conductor is passed through input transformer and output feeder conductor, through output transformer.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of protecting persons against electric shock from alternating-current distribution point.
