FIELD: fodder production.
SUBSTANCE: the suggested fodder additive for animals is based upon cellular mass of biotechnological process of cultivating halobacteria Halobacterium salinarum being nonpathogenic for human beings and animals that contains about 0.01-3.0 weight% bacteriorhodopsin in crude cellular mass. Moreover, cellular mass should be dried to obtain the powder due to mechanical dehydration or lyophilization in a freeze drier. Moreover, one should supplement cellular mass of Halobacterium salinarum halobacteria with culture liquid of biotechnological process of cultivating Halobacterium salinarum halobacteria being nonpathogenic for human beings and animals and/or normalizing additives to provide the balance of nutritive value. The innovation enables to increase productivity and body resistance in animals.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
