FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves treating the central nervous system with rectangular low-frequency pulsating currents of complex mode interference modulation in frequency bandwidth from 4 to 200 Hz having its deviation within the limits of 0-250 Hz, low-frequency modulation of basic signal within the limits of 0.5-20 Hz and impulse-filling frequency of 4-16 kHz. Current is supplied from two independent device circuits in cross-coupled mode to electrodes located on closed eyelid skin and on mastoid process projections. Single treatment procedure duration is equal to 8-15 min. Current intensity is to be close to moderately pleasant vibration under electrodes. The total treatment course is 8-15 daily procedures long.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in carrying out anesthesia, improving and normalizing sleep; activated reparative processes in crisis zone in early and late rehabilitation period.
