FIELD: separation of palladium from concentrates and/or from industrial wastes; technological processes of refining industry; analytical monitoring of composition of materials containing precious metals.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes dissolving of materials containing precious metals in "aqua regia" and settling of palladium by dimethylglyoxime. Dissolving is carried out at ratio of volume of "aqua regia" diluted by water of 1:1 and mass of material of from 20 to 22. Excessive hydrochloric acid is evaporated from the solution thus obtained and sediment is separated. Filtrate is directed for settling of palladium by dimethylglyoxime in presence of "aqua regia" at volume ratio of filtrate to "aqua regia" of 20:1.
EFFECT: minimum content of admixtures in finished product.
