FIELD: geophysical well research.
SUBSTANCE: invention uses a probe made in form of two current electrodes positioned on different sides relatively to at least three measuring electrodes, spatially distanced without adherence to equidistance requirements. Electric current is supplied to electrodes in turns. During each current feed, potential on middle measuring electrode is measured, difference of potentials between end measuring electrodes and middle measuring electrode, difference of potentials between current electrode, to which current is not supplied during current feed and the middle measuring electrode. Specific electric resistance is derived from a design formula.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
