FIELD: processes and equipment for cleaning inner surfaces of tubes be removing different types of solid deposits out of them for completely cleaning inner surface of tube by one cleaning cycle and preventing simultaneously further self-distortion of tubes.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of mechanically acting upon outer surface of tube by applying load normal to tube axis and simultaneously providing translation motion of tube for further removal of broken deposits. Mechanical action is realized by creating radial impact load due to acting upon outer surface of tube at least by means of two pairs of percussion mechanisms. Said load is created simultaneously by pairs of percussion mechanisms acting upon opposite sides of outer surface of tube. Mechanisms of each pair act alternatively in two mutually normal planes shifted one relative to other at translation motion of tube. Value of radial impact load is in range of elastic deformation of tube wall. Apparatus for performing the method includes device for mechanically acting upon outer surface of tube due to applying load normal to tube axis at translation motion of tube and unit for removing broken deposits. Device for mechanically acting outer surface of tube is in the form radial forging machine having striker mechanism at least with two pairs of strikers and drive units providing their working stroke and also having mechanism for translation motion of tube. Strikers of each pair are mounted in the same plane. For each pair of strikers plane for acting upon outer surface of tube is turned relative to such plane for other pair of strikers by right angle. Said striking mechanisms are mounted with possibility of alternative action of each pair of strikers upon outer surface of tube while providing shifting of action zone along axis of tube performing translation motion.

EFFECT: enhanced quality of cleaning inner surface of tubes.
