FIELD: construction, particularly floor structures formed of battens and provided with mechanical locking system.
SUBSTANCE: mechanical locking system comprises locking strip to be separately processed and fastened to flooring batten. The locking strip is adapted to be connected to flooring batten by snap connection and/or strip installation at an angle. The locking strip connects the first batten to similar one by at least installation thereof at an angle. Locking strip, strip blank and tool set for flooring batten manufacturing, as well as method for flooring batten and locking strip production are also disclosed.
EFFECT: decreased labor inputs for flooring batten connection.
