FIELD: drying of grain.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises drying and cooling the grain by means of fresh air, storing the grain in silo towers, removing light fractions from the exhaust drying agent subsequent to the preliminary heating of wet grain in the cyclone, and branching the drying agent into two flows subsequent to drying and cooling it in the operation section of the evaporator. One of the flows is directed to the active ventilation of grain in the silo towers. The other flow is directed to the drying of grain. Before supplying, the mixture of drying agent and fresh air is heated in one of the sections of the double-section condenser of the heat-pump plant. After cooling of the grain, the exhaust air is supplied to the other section of the double-section condenser, and then it is supplied to the defrosting of the reserve section of the evaporator that operates in the regeneration regime. The flow rate, temperature, and moisture of the mixture of dried (cooled) drying agent and fresh air are measured before both the drying and active ventilation of grain. The temperature of grain is measured in various section of the silo tower. When the grain temperature at any point of the silo tower exceeds the specified value, the ratio between the flow rates of the dried (cooled) drying agent and fresh air is corrected according to the temperature and moisture of the mixture supplied to the active ventilation of grain.
