FIELD: manufacture of netting having large-sized meshes and adapted for applying as reinforcing tissue onto floor.
SUBSTANCE: netting has base bundles intersecting one another and consisting of a number of warp threads, and weft bundles consisting of a number of weft threads, said warp bundles and weft bundles surrounding meshes or apertures of netting. Some threads of bundle in mesh are longer than other threads of the same bundle, said longer threads extending in wave-like manner and forming at least one open loop or convex portion in each mesh, said convex portions being made rigid and extending upward and/or downward from netting surface. Method involves subjecting tissue to stretching in direction of base and fixing in strained state of base, with the result that groups of warp threads extending in zigzag manner are stretched and shifted to become denser at intersection sites, wherein first part of weft threads embraces in S-like manner both groups of warp threads while second part of weft threads passes through both groups of bundle with substantial extension or in straight line. Due to this, first part of weft threads is shortened as compared to second part of weft threads in mesh, with second part of weft threads in mesh being longer and defining open loops or convex portions.
EFFECT: increased volume of netting and provision for improved adhesion with surface of floor to be reinforced with netting.
