IMPROVED LIQUID-FUEL NOZZLE FOR GAS-TURBINE BURNERS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC F23D11/10 

FIELD: gas turbines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed nozzle has head in form of truncated cone with hole in its lower base for let out liquid fuel, tube to deliver liquid fuel into nozzle head, outer tube arranged around tube to form ring space to which compressed air is delivered, turbulator arranged between tube and nozzle head and connected with head by threaded joint, and with tube by butt welding. Said turbolator has central connecting channel to pass liquid fuel from tube to hole in smaller base of head, closing element arranged around head and turbolator forming space of pass compressed air which communicates with ring space and is connected at one end with outer tube and at other end tapering around head with formation of hole before hole in smaller base of head. Turbolator is provided with blades orientated along spiral and arranged from outside from central connecting channel to provide turbulent motion of compressed air passing through said space formed between closing element and head with said element. To center tube relative to outer tube use is made of centering devices containing bridges passing in radial direction between tube and outer tube.

EFFECT: reduced discharge of substances harmful to environment, provision of high stability of flame, reduced pressure fluctuations in combustion chamber, improved efficiency of combustion.
