FIELD: engineering of technical means for training personnel of power objects.

SUBSTANCE: training device contains operator panel, instructor panel, block for setting power object parameters with imitators of its subsystems, block of effect signal imitators with imitators of external environment subsystems, unit for programmable input of tasks and/or commands, registration unit, unit for measuring speed of operator response, unit for measuring operator's heart rate, unit for reading motion activity of operator, unit for controlling psycho-physiological condition of operator and unit for predicting resistance of operator to loads under stress. Unit for programmable input of tasks and/or commands provides imitation of critical and emergency modes of power object, and also of information overload of operator, and displays an a priori prepared test problem to operator in pre-stress state. Unit for controlling psycho-physiological condition of operator records pre-stress state of operator based on measured parameters and sends a signal, indicating said state, to instructor panel. During measurement of individual psycho-physiological characteristics - reactions of operator condition prior to pre-stress and/or fatigue, final test (control) problem is given to operator. Unit for predicting resistance of operator to loads under stress determines characteristics and time needed by operator for completion of test problem in pre-stress state, and also dynamics of response speed alternation and motion activity during operation of training machine with increasing operator's level of training.

EFFECT: increased reliability of operator during operation with complex situations involving sharp workload increases.
