FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cast iron compositions. The proposed cast iron comprises components taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: carbon, 3.0-3.6; silicon, 0.3-0.5; manganese, 0.8-1.2; aluminum, 0.1-0.3; boron, 0.03-0.05; molybdenum, 1.0-2.0; barium, 0.003-0.008; zirconium, 0.5-1.0; magnesium, 0.01-0.03, and iron, the balance. Using the invention provides enhancing thermal stability of cast iron.
EFFECT: improved and valuable property of cast iron.
