FIELD: construction, particularly high building erection, namely all-purpose tower-type support structures.
SUBSTANCE: support belt is used with metal tower assortment. Each metal tower comprises stem made as three-dimensional lattice truss with inclined and vertical belts having the same length and connected with each other and with support belt by means of tightening members. Each next tower differing in length is obtained by exclusion of one vertical or inclined belt from tower stem. Support belt has the same structure and number of posts for each tower. The posts are made as similar flat lattice trusses. Each post is provided with hinges to join thereof with adjacent inclined or vertical tower stem belt from the first side and with foundation from another side thereof through flanges. This allows to change distance from axis of hinge joined with the nearest tower belt, to axis of hinge joined with tower foundation and to increase total bearing area of foundation in dependence of tower height, operational conditions and equipment to be installed on the tower.
EFFECT: improved unification of metal tower assortment due to possibility of single and composite support belt usage for the whole metal tower assortment.
