WELL DEWAXING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC E21B37/00

Abstract RU 2306406 C1

FIELD: oil production, particularly to provide oil well stability during viscous and paraffin-containing oil production.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises three concentric pipes arranged to provide main oil flow heating and pump. Orifice row is formed in lower part of inner pipe. Upper part of central pipe is provided with throttle orifices to heat portion of pumped oil and oil movement into cavity system between central and outer pipes. Inner pipe is used to transfer main oil flow. Space between inner and outer pipes is used for coarse sand particle precipitation. Spaces defined by pipes are communicated with ejection pump inlet in lower pipe parts. Device may utilize liquid flow pressure to generate heat during pumped oil portion throttling.

EFFECT: provision of heat generation during main pumped liquid flow pressure throttling through local hydraulic friction sections without substantial pressure decrease.
