SUBSTANCE: device has terminals for connecting the switch unit under test, high pulsating voltage source, current circuit having a making current source having capacitor connected in parallel to it, and reactor. The current circuit is connected in parallel to the high pulsating voltage source and electrically connected on one end to the first connection terminal of the switch unit under test. Automatic test control unit is additionally introduced into device design having one output member connected to high pulsating voltage source starter input, and the second output is included into the device circuit so, that its signal is delivered to the switch under test with the second terminal for making connection to the switch under test, being connected to the second end of current circuit.
EFFECT: simplified design; high operation reliability.
