FIELD: metallurgy; composition of cast irons.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cast iron contains the following components, mass-%: carbon, 3.0-3.5; silicon, 1.8-2.2; manganese, 0.8-1.2; titanium, 0.1-0.3; chromium, 0.3-0.8; magnesium, 0.003-0.008; zirconium, 0.1-0.3; hafnium, 0.3-0.5; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: increased number of cast iron ingot pouring operations.
