FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tower crane contains running frame with running bogies consisting of circular frame, and connected by brackets through spherical step bearings with brackets of wind vanes, slewing platform with fitted on counterweight, mounting winch, load winch and slewing mechanism. Mounted on platform are bar truss, mounting post coupled with sheave system and telescopic strut. Crane contains also portal with hinge post, tower, tower brace consisting of metal plates, operator's cabin, head coupled with hinged strut and secured in upper part of last section of tower, boom with load trolley, hook hanger with fitted on load-gripping member and load wire rope, wire rope to move load trolley, boom wire rope, mounting wire rope and system of sheaves assembled in definited manner.
EFFECT: increased load capacity, enlarged operating capabilities of tower crane.
