FIELD: mining, particularly to extinguish underground coal mine fires caused by methane and/or coal dust explosion.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises explosion indicator, fire pipeline with tap for flow opening, driving lever cooperating with tap and flexible link fastened to driving lever. Explosion indicator is made as flag closing upper part of excavation section. The flag is carried by shaft having shaped member, which may cooperate with driving lever. The driving lever cooperates with tap through flexible link passing over pulley with fixed pin. The second end of flexible link is fastened to rack provided with gravity weight. The rack may cooperate with toothed wheel put in shaft fixedly connected to tap or valve, which is installed in opposite pipeline.
EFFECT: increased fire-extinguishing efficiency due to decreased time of extinguishing application to fire site.
