SUBSTANCE: steel composition contains, wt%: carbon 0.1-0.15; silicon 0.4-0.8; manganese 2.5-3.5; chromium 2.0-2.5; titanium 0.6-1.0; aluminum 0.2-0.4; zirconium 0.8-1.2; boron 0.3-0.5; rare-earth metals 0.05-0.1; vanadium 0.2-0.4; calcium 0.04-0.08; iron the balance.
EFFECT: increased strength and hardenability of steel and, accordingly, improved quality of steel products.
